DD Foxx is a multi-talented Lebanese Billboard Charting Recording Artist based out of Dubai, UAE signed to 971 Entertainment Group, a independent boutique record label located in Montreal, Canada.
On February 23, 2019 her very first U.S. single "Need Your Love Tonight" reached #18 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. The track garnered reworks by #1 charting remixers Eric Kupper (Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross) and DJ Kue (Justin Beiber, Katy Perry, Calvin Harris).
This was a HISTORICAL milestone with DD Foxx becoming the FIRST female artist from the UAE with a Top 20 Hit on the dance chart.
DD Foxx grew up emulating TV commercials and jingles, sparking her passion for singing and songwriting. Those humble and honest beginnings as well as exposure to an array of musical influences has helped to shape her style which is described as “a mixture of Pop, Dance, R&B and Funk with a Middle Eastern flavor.”
DD Foxx was ranked #3 in the Urban & Pop genre of the 'Top 20 Best Selling Albums' by UAE artists when she first broke into the MENA market with her CD 'Had To Be Me' (Virgin Megastores). The lead single "Raise The Roof" received rave reviews which included a music video choreographed by Emmy Award nominee Luther Brown who has worked with Alicia Keys, Daddy Yankee, Gwen Stefani, Diddy among others.
Some of DD’s past highlights include being chosen as one of four Dubai artists to showcase for Quincy Jones, Will.i.am and Timbaland as part of the Dubai Music Week. She has also worked with an array of international brands such as Samsung, MasterCard, Emirates Airlines, Paris Hilton and Disney to name a few.
DD Foxx is passionate about leading the way to inspire more women from Dubai and the surrounding region to follow in her footsteps. While embracing her cultural heritage, she steps out of the box of the traditional artist from her country to introduce her music and the DD Foxx brand on the world stage!
