DD Foxx is a multi-talented Lebanese recording artist based out of Dubai, UAE signed to 971 Entertainment Group Inc. a independent boutique record label located in Montreal, Canada.
She grew up emulating TV commercials and jingles, sparking her passion for singing and songwriting. Those humble and honest beginnings as well as exposure to an array of musical influences has helped to shape her style which is described as “a mixture of Pop, Dance, R&B, Rap and Funk with a Middle Eastern flavor.”
DD Foxx was ranked #3 in the Urban & Pop genre of the 'Top 20 Best Selling Albums' by UAE artists when she first broke into the market with her CD 'Had To Be Me' (Virgin Megastores). The lead single "Raise The Roof" received rave reviews which included a music video choreographed by Emmy Award nominee Luther Brown who has worked with Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Big Bang, Diddy among others.
Some of DD’s past highlights include being chosen as one of four Dubai artists to showcase for Quincy Jones, Will.i.am and Timbaland as part of the Dubai Music Week. She has also worked with an array of international brands such as Samsung, MasterCard, Emirates Airlines, Paris Hilton, Max Factor and Disney to name a few.
Her latest and first U.S. club single "Need Your Love Tonight" will have you heading straight to the dance floor! The two remix producers of the track, DJ Kue and Eric Kupper's catalog, include reworks of #1 songs by Ariana Grande, Janet Jackson, Calvin Harris, Diana Ross, Katy Perry,
Justin Bieber, Diana Ross and others. After an initial Breakout DD Foxx achieved a historical milestone by becoming the FIRST female artist from the UAE with a Top 20 Hit on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart which peaked at #18.
DD Foxx is passionate about leading the way to inspire more women from her region to follow in her footsteps. While embracing her cultural heritage, she steps out of the box of the traditional artist from her country to introduce her music and the DD Foxx brand on the world stage!
