Ant Grant is a Canadian-American actor, artist, writer and producer. As an actor, Ant has been featured in commercials, Off-Broadway plays, over a dozen TV/Films and videos that have aired on major networks such as ABC, B.E.T., CTV, SYFY, Lifetime, Showcase and Netflix to name a few.
Recent roles include; starring as Hip Hop Mogul Damon Dash in "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B" Biopic (2014), Rookie Blue (2014/15), Lost Girl (2015) and The Listener (2014).
Ant is also the powerful voice of the Toronto Raptors "We The North" campaign that blew up the internet with over 885K views on YouTube that caught the attention of celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
To further complement his hard working and ambitious qualities as a writer/artist, Ant had 4 song placements in 3 movies. His song "Notice Me" was featured in the Aaliyah Biopic during a montage scene that Ant acted in alongside actress Alexandra Shipp (Straight Outta Compton, Drumline).
Notice Me played for over one-minute-long in the Biopic that aired on Lifetime TV and was rated the second highest cable TV movie attracting 3.2 Million viewers. Nielsen Media's mutable Twitter ratings put the pic at the top of its weekly chart, 997,000 tweets and a unique audience of 3.4 million. The film was directed by Bradley Walsh and executive produced by Debra Martin Chase and talk show host Wendy Williams.
Ant's song "Hands Up" was featured in an independent film that was released in selected U.S. theatres and his tracks "Heart Beat" and "See U Dancin" are featured in a new comedy film distributed by Lionsgate globally.
